The ultimate goal of «Helping pets» program of CO «CF «Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv» is the realization of «Pets shelter» Project. Within this project it is planned to build a modern, multifunctional shelter for more than 1000 pets in the immediate vicinity to Kharkiv city. The main principle of planning shelter is to save lives of those pets who will be living there, and also to find them a new owner. Pets shelter will be giving next services: - adopting homeless pets; - giving first veterinary aid; - giving surgical aid and further rehabilitation for those who need; - therapeutical treatment; sterilization; - identification; - maintenance on a long-term basis; - searching a new owner for pets; - temporary keeping and care of animals (animal hotel).

Stages of the project

Pets shelter

1. Search for a land plot

For the implementation of the project, negotiations are already underway to allocate a plot of land with an area of up to 10 hectares, on which it is planned to build an animal shelter, taking into account European experience and in compliance with the norms of the existing legislation of Ukraine.

2. Plans on the territory of the shelter

- administrative block- public block for free communication with animals

- pump station- veterinary clinic

- veterinary pharmacy

- a pet store

- a hotel for animals

- grooming salon

3. The animal shelter services

- placement of homeless animals- provision of primary veterinary care

- provision of necessary surgical care and further rehabilitation

- therapeutic treatment

- sterilization- identification

- maintenance on a long-term basis

- distribution of animals among those wishing to become new owners

- temporary keeping and care of animals (hotel for animals)

4. Risk and deling with them

- the risk of not being able to provide assistance to all animals in need - we will make every effort to find new and loving owners for homeless animals.

5. Intermediate control

Photo and video recording of all process (we record the full name, passport data of customers of shelter for animals services).
