SOS Education: Safe return to school
Project goal:
Providing support to children who have suffered educational losses due to the war and ensuring their access to quality education. The project also aims to improve the professional skills of teachers to work effectively in the context of making up for educational losses.
The SOS Education project has been successfully working to help children and teachers affected by the consequences of war. We provide comprehensive support, covering both educational and psychological aspects, to ensure a sustainable and long-lasting impact on the learning process.
How do we solve the problem of educational losses?
- Additional classes in basic subjects
Children attend group classes in Ukrainian, history and English. Modern methods are used, adapted to the individual needs of the students, which helps to effectively fill in the gaps in knowledge.
- Digital resources and interactive learning
The educational process is enriched with interactive methods, which makes learning interesting and accessible.
- Professional development of teachers
Trainings and seminars for teachers are held, covering:
- Modern teaching methods.
- Work with children who have suffered psychological trauma.
- The use of technology in the educational process.
- Psychological support
Our psychologist provides counseling and group sessions for:
- Students who need help to reduce stress and adapt to new conditions.
- Parents to help them better understand and support their children.
- Teachers who face a significant emotional burden.
- Resources for parents
We provide practical guidance and advice to help parents effectively support their children in their studies.
A comprehensive approach for sustainable results
The SOS Education project aims to comprehensively address the problem of educational losses, taking into account both academic and psychological aspects. This approach allows us to create conditions for a stable return of children to school, as well as to increase the efficiency of teachers.
We are already seeing the first positive results: children are catching up on lost knowledge, teachers are introducing new practices, and parents are more actively supporting their children in their studies.
Together, we provide not only quality education, but also a return to a safe and stable future.
