Children fleeing hotspots are at significant risk of family separation, violence, abuse, sexual exploitation and trafficking. Most of them have experienced deeply traumatic events and are under constant stress. These children are in urgent need of safety, stability, protection and psychosocial support – especially those who are unaccompanied or separated from their families. Most of all, they need peace. At the same time, war and mass displacement destroy livelihoods and economic opportunities, leaving many families without sufficient income to meet basic needs and unable to adequately support their children. CO «CF «Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv» and its partners work in Kharkiv and the region to provide children and their families with humanitarian aid, including special hygiene products for children, water and baby food, health care and education.
