Learning and Support: Helping Bridge the Education Gap
Educational sessions for children and training for teachers — Peaceful heaven of Kharkiv Foundation, with the support of the Czech humanitarian organization People in Need, is implementing a project aimed at helping overcome educational losses.
At our Hub, located in Kharkiv at 50b Lyudviga Svobody Avenue, schoolchildren can catch up on essential knowledge, while teachers have the opportunity to enhance their skills.
"The core activities of the project include group lessons in English, Ukrainian language, and history. We're also working on integrating digital tools and interactive learning methods. We conduct trainings and seminars for educators, focusing on modern teaching approaches and methods for working with children who have experienced psychological trauma," says Anastasiia Bilchenko, Project Manager at Peaceful heaven of Kharkiv Foundation.
Visitors to the Hub say this initiative is vital in times when access to education is limited.
"We’ve been coming to the Hub for nearly two years. When kindergartens are closed and schools operate online, it’s crucial to have a place where children can learn in an engaging way, socialize, and connect with others," says the mother of two children aged 6 and 11.
We invite children aged 6 to 17 to join our sessions, and teachers to attend trainings and seminars.
We’re here to support and strengthen educational growth.
