Mine Safety Lectures Held for Kherson Residents

Learning how to handle dangerous objects is crucial for the residents of Kherson region. The Charitable Foundation "Peaceful heaven of Kharkiv" conducted 15 lectures as part of the project "Raising Awareness of Risks Related to Mines and Explosive Remnants of War" for children, teenagers, and adults.

These life-saving lessons reached 373 individuals.

For children aged 5–11, the lecture was delivered as an engaging quest with memorable gifts. Adults received informational brochures reminding them how to handle unknown explosive objects safely.

The Kherson City Military Administration expressed gratitude for the foundation's work:
"The foundation consistently supports our community members. Their team provides food assistance to families with children, those with limited mobility, and low-income residents. Volunteers help mitigate the consequences of enemy shelling, serve hot meals to those in need and critical infrastructure workers, and much more. Their efforts have made a significant positive impact on the lives of Kherson residents."

This project for providing protection, and social and psychological support to children and their parents is implemented by the Ukrainian Educational Platform in partnership with a network of Support Centers. It is funded by the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF) and supported by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA Ukraine).
