Kharkiv Clinical Hospital of Railway Transport No. 1 has received modern X-ray machines from the partners of the "Peaceful heaven of Kharkiv" Charity Fund – the British organization Urgent Projects and its founder, Eka Vekua.
The equipment includes a stationary X-ray unit, a portable X-ray machine with a generator (indispensable during power outages), and a mobile X-ray machine for use in field conditions.
"This is very important – having advanced diagnostic equipment to quickly establish diagnoses and ensure successful treatment. I sincerely thank the charity organization Urgent Projects for the support they have provided us during this difficult time for Ukraine," comments Viktor Leshchenko, the General Director of the medical facility.
He adds that this is not the first assistance the hospital has received from Eka Vekua. Previously, Urgent Projects provided modern equipment that helps doctors perform complex surgeries.
"Since the beginning of the war, Urgent Projects has been supporting medical institutions in Ukraine, for which we are very grateful. We hope for further cooperation," notes Oleksandr Varyvoda, Project Manager at the "Peaceful heaven of Kharkiv" Charity Fund.
