Caring for the Youngest: Delivering Aid to the Remote Barvinkivska Community

The team from the Peaceful heaven of Kharkiv Foundation worked in the remote Barvinkivska community of the Izyum district. With the support of our partners from the Diaconia Foundation, 430 children received food packages.

These packages were distributed as part of the “Humanitarian Aid for the Population of Kharkiv and Kherson Regions” project.

We understand how rare a good meal can be for the residents of a city where two-thirds were destroyed in the full-scale invasion. Once home to over 10,000 people, the population is now five times smaller. The community frequently suffers from shelling, and the frontline is just a few dozen kilometers away.

The Peaceful heaven team worked from early morning until late evening, using flashlights to ensure that each person received their package.
